Direct answer: after you submit a Tavexio order, it moves through distinct stages: submission with a confirmation email, processing with age and eligibility checks, dispatch with tracking information, and delivery requiring adult signature. Each stage produces its own record. This guide explains what happens at each stage, what evidence you receive, and which record owns which question about your order.
Stage 1: Order submission and confirmation
When you complete checkout, Tavexio sends an order confirmation to your checkout email address. This confirmation records what was submitted at a specific time: order number, product names, quantity, delivery postcode and displayed amounts.
The confirmation is your reference for all later enquiries. Keep it unedited and private. Do not treat it as a shipping notice or delivery promise. Tavexio’s Terms and Conditions distinguish submitting an order from guaranteed acceptance. An order may later be declined or cancelled when age, location, availability, pricing, security or legal requirements cannot be satisfied.
Verify the confirmation immediately: check the order number, complete product names with variant descriptors, SKU where shown, quantity and sale unit, destination postcode and checkout email. If any field differs from your intention, contact Tavexio promptly with the order number and the specific mismatch.

Stage 2: Order processing and eligibility checks
After submission, Tavexio reviews the order for eligibility. This stage is not visible to you as a tracking event, but it determines whether the order proceeds to dispatch. Processing may include:
- Age verification: confirmation that you are at least 18 years old. Additional identity checks may apply where applicable.
- Address eligibility: confirmation that the delivery postcode is within an eligible Australian destination. Tavexio does not ship to international addresses.
- Availability check: confirmation that the ordered item remains available. A product shown as available at submission may later become unavailable.
- Pricing verification: confirmation that displayed amounts are current. Prices may change between submission and processing.
- Security and compliance checks: review for unusual patterns, restricted destinations or other risk indicators.
If the order cannot proceed, Tavexio may decline or cancel it. The confirmation remains your record of what was submitted, even if the outcome changes. Do not treat a cancellation as proof that the confirmation was incorrect; it recorded the submission state accurately.
Stage 3: Dispatch and tracking
When an order is dispatched, Tavexio provides a tracking reference from the carrier. This is a separate record from the order confirmation. The tracking record belongs to the carrier and shows the parcel’s movement through their network.
Keep the tracking reference with your order number. The tracking page may show: collection by the carrier, transit through sorting facilities, arrival at a local depot, out for delivery, and delivery with signature or safe-drop information.
Tracking is not real time. Scans may be delayed, skipped or updated in batches. A quiet tracking page does not prove that the order was not dispatched. Refer to the tracking delay guide when a carrier timeline stops changing.
Do not treat the dispatch stage as a second confirmation. The order confirmation remains the authoritative record of what was submitted. Dispatch confirms that the order left Tavexio’s facility; it does not rewrite the product identity or quantity from submission.
Stage 4: Delivery and adult signature
Delivery requires an adult signature at an eligible Australian address. The carrier may require proof that the recipient is at least 18 years old. If no adult is available, the carrier may leave a collection card or attempt redelivery according to their standard procedures.
Upon delivery, inspect the parcel before the carrier leaves if possible. Note any visible damage, water exposure, crushing or tape failure on the delivery record or in photographs. This creates contemporaneous evidence if a later enquiry is needed.
Keep the delivery confirmation from the carrier with your order records. The delivery date and signature status may be relevant for returns timeframes or incorrect-item reports.
Stage 5: Post-delivery records and timeframes
After delivery, different questions belong to different records:
- Product identity questions: compare the delivered item with the order confirmation and the live product page. Use the Returns and Refunds page for incorrect-item reports.
- Damage or incomplete delivery: keep the item and packaging until support provides the next step. Refer to the damaged parcel evidence guide for what to photograph and retain.
- Change-of-mind requests: these are distinct from incorrect-item reports. Refer to the change-of-mind guide to understand the difference.
- Tracking or delivery questions: use the Shipping Policy for carrier conditions and delivery guidance.
Do not assume that a request has been approved before receiving instructions. Tavexio support may ask for photographs, order numbers, destination postcodes or other specific details depending on the issue.
